Is An Taisce a semi-state organisation? No. An Taisce are an independent, non-governmental charity. We rely on volunteers and membership.
How much does it cost to become an An Taisce member? The annual membership fee for an individual is €35.00 per annum. We offer other membership options for families, groups, students, OAP's and businesses. You can find out more about our costs by clicking here.
What are the benefits of becoming an An Taisce member? Above all is the knowledge that you are supporting Ireland’s most effective environmental and heritage organisation in an era of unprecedented pressure. Members also receive reduced price entry into over 80 heritage properties and gardens around the country and a monthly An Taisce email bulletin. All An Taisce members are eligible for election to their local association committee and An Taisce’s 52-person National Council.

These are based in; Blanchardstown, Bray, Clare, Cork, Donegal North, Donegal South, Dublin City Dun Laoghaire, Dublin South, Fingal, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Limerick, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Tipperary South, Tipperary North, UCD, Wexford and Waterford.
